A Trans-Boundary Network Fostering Environmental Stewardship of the Gulf of Mexico

From Jan-09 through Dec-11 Global Water Watch is implementing, the GWW-GOMA Project throughout watersheds in Alabama and Veracruz. This Environmental Education project, funded by the US EPA Gulf of Mexico Program office, will teach animal producers, middle/high school teachers and students, and volunteer water monitors about Gulf of Mexico issues, water protection and monitoring. Activities include a series of water quality monitoring workshops, study tours, development of an online Environmental Education Directory and conferences.
